Badshahi Masjid
People and my blogger friend get ready to have another very beautiful trip to Badshahi Masjid(Lahore)
BADSHAHI MASJID:
USEFUL INFORMATION:
The Badshahi Masjid (Urdu: بادشاہی مسجد) or the 'Royal Masjid' in Lahore, commissioned by the sixth Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1671 and completed in 1673, is the second largest mosque in Pakistan and South Asia and the fifth largest masjid in the world. Epitomising the beauty, passion and grandeur of the Mughal era, it is Lahore's most famous landmark and a major tourist attraction.
Capable of accommodating 5,000 worshippers in its main prayer hall and a further 95,000 in its courtyard and porticoes, it remained the largest masjid in the world from 1673 to 1986 (a period of 313 years), when overtaken in size by the completion of the Faisal Masjid in Islamabad. Today, it remains the second largest masjid in Pakistan and South Asia and the fifth largest masjid in the world after the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Masjid) of Mecca, the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophet's Masjid) in Medina, the Hassan II Masjid in Casablanca and the Faisal Masjid in Islamabad.
To appreciate its large size, the four minarets of the Badshahi Masjid are 13.9 ft (4.2 m) taller than those of the Taj Mahal and the main platform of the Taj Mahal can fit inside the 278,784 sq ft (25,899.9 m2) courtyard of the Badshahi Masjid, which is the largest masjid courtyard in the world.
In 1993, the Government of Pakistan recommended the inclusion of the Badshahi Masjid as a World Heritage Site in UNESCO's World Heritage List, where it has been included in Pakistan's Tentative List for possible nomination to the World Heritage List by UNESCO.

EID CELEBRATIONS
Aslam 'o Alikum and hello to every one:today is Eid-ul-Fitr,and i want to share that day so be ready:)
Eid-ul-Fitr, "Eid-ul-fitr", Eid al-Fitr, Id-ul-Fitr, or Id al-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر ‘Īdu l-Fiṭr), often abbreviated to Eid, is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting (sawm). The religious Eid is a single day (a Muslim is not permitted to fast that day), but it is usually celebrated for 3 days. Eid is an Arabic word meaning "festivity", while Fiṭr means "over the come". The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The first day of Eid, therefore, falls on the first day of the month Shawwal. This is a day where Muslims around the world try to show a common goal of unity. Eid al-Fitr has a particular salat (Islamic prayer) consisting of two raka'ah (units) and generally offered in an open field or large hall. It may only be performed in congregation (Jama’at) and has an additional extra six Takbirs (raising of the hands to the ears while saying "Allahu Akbar" [God is Great]), three of them in the beginning of the first raka'ah and three of them just before ruku' in the second raka'ah in the Hanafi school. This Eid al-Fitr salat is, depending on which juristic opinion is followed, Fard (obligatory), Mustahabb (strongly recommended, just short of obligatory) or mandoob (preferable). Muslims believe that they are commanded by God, as mentioned in the Qur'an, to continue their fast until the last day of Ramadan and pay the Zakat and fitra before doing the Eid prayer.
here is the Prayer of Eid-ul-Fitr

RAMAZAN KAREEM
Hello all bloger friends, i know i am very late to take you to the beautiful journey of the blessing month RAMADAN,now all of you must get ready
first of all let me tell you about Ramazan
first of all let me tell you about Ramazan
This article is about religious observances during the month of Ramadan. For the actual calendar month, see Ramadan (calendar month).
Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان} is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar,Muslims are supposed to observe fast during this month. This is regarded as the third pillar of Islam. The month lasts 29-30 days based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon according to numerous biographical accounts compiled in hadiths. The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root “ramida” or “ar-ramad,” which means scorching heat or dryness.
While fasting from dawn until sunset Muslims are supposed to refrain from consuming food, drinking water and sexual relations According to Islam, the sawab (rewards) of fasting are many, but in this month, they are believed to be multiplied. Fasting for Muslims in this month, typically, includes the increased offering of salat prayers and recitation of the Quran.
